What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion uses a minimally abrasive device that gently exfoliates the skin, this is designed to remove the dull top layer of the skin which is called the Stratum Corneum and is made up of predominantly dead skin cells.

This then reveals a layer of fresh younger looking skin that has a beautiful glow. By forcing this premature removal of the skin it encourages the production of collagen that gives your face a smoother and firmer appearance.

This process is completed over a course of six treatments which are performed at weekly intervals. As we are removing the top layer we then encourage the skin to produce new healthy skin. During this process it is extremely important you keep well hydrated to help the production of hydrated skin.
